Inspired Floral Design was born from a deep desire to find a way to utilize my passion for beautiful things and a need to find a creative niche. As a Do-It-Yourself Bride in 2004, I chose to forego the traditional route for my own wedding flowers. Standing amongst overflowing buckets of roses, calla lilies, unusual greens and foliages, seasonal berries and wild flowers picked from the side of a local stream… I fell in love.

In December 2006, I decided to leave my 9 to 5 job to become a stay at home mother to my two children with one on the way. What started as a little time here and there to ‘play with flowers’ quickly turned into a wonderful way to be home with my kids and do something that I truly love as a career.

I chose the name Inspired Floral Design to emphasize my approach to my work. I look to each client’s vision and personality to inspire the ideas and concepts for each event. The result is personalized, gorgeous, and infused with the joy and feeling of your event.
